Site Waste Management Plans

HCT Construction Consultants has the expertise and the competence to provide clients and contractors with detailed Site Waste Management Plans in accordance with the Site Waste Management Plans Regulations 2008.

From 6 April 2008, if a client intends to carry out a construction project in England with an estimated cost greater than £300,000 (excluding VAT) they must, before construction work begins on the site, prepare a Site Waste Management Plan (SWMP).

There are two levels of SWMP, standard and detailed. For projects with an estimated cost of £500,000 (excluding VAT) and above, more onerous information requirements apply.

HCT Construction Consultants are offering free telephone advice on the contents of a SWMP and client responsibilities in accordance with the 2008 regulations.
